Why choose 45MG?
Designed for harsh environments
The 45MG ultrasonic thickness gauge is built to withstand extreme working conditions, thanks to its ruggedness and IP67 certification, making it fully protected against dust and water. Its safe operation is guaranteed even in explosive atmospheres, in accordance with NFPA 70 Class I, Division 2, Group D standard and tested according to MIL-STD-810G, Method 511.4, Procedure I. Designed to withstand intense stress, it has been shock-tested according to MIL-STD-810G, Method 516.5, Procedure I, with six cycles per axis and an acceleration of 15 g. In addition, vibration resistance is certified in accordance with MIL-STD-810G, Method 514.5, Procedure I, ensuring reliability even under harsh operating conditions. The meter is capable of operating over a wide temperature range and can be equipped with an optional rubber guard for added strength and stability during use.
Easy to use and highly intuitive
The 45MG is designed to provide a simple and effective user experience. The essential keyboard allows ambidextrous use, while the intuitive user interface provides direct access to most functions. The device integrates a MicroSD memory card, both internal and removable, and a USB port for fast data transfer. For efficient measurement management, an optional alphanumeric datalogger is available, capable of storing up to 475,000 thickness readings or 20,000 waveforms. The meter supports predefined or custom configurations for single-element transducers and offers password-lock protection. The transflective QVGA color display ensures excellent readability in all light conditions, with the possibility of configuration for indoor and outdoor environments.
A versatile and reliable meter
The 45MG is a simple and affordable solution, ideal for most common thickness measurement applications, with a reduced learning curve for operators. However, with additional software options and optional transducers, it can also be used for advanced applications that require higher functionality than a basic gauge. Software options can be purchased individually at the time of purchase or integrated later to accommodate new operational needs. The 45MG is compatible with a wide range of dual-element transducers for thickness measurement in metals with internal corrosion, and offers advanced modes such as Min./Max., alarms, differential, time-based B-Scan, reduction rate and gain adjustment. For added security, the instrument can be locked by password, ensuring access control and data protection.
