The ECO C., available in C.225, C.320 and C.450 versions, is a universal inspection cabinet equipped with a C-arm and a large scanning area. With full CNC capability, it enables the execution of automated inspection sequences with extreme precision. While maintaining high standardization for cost-effectiveness, the system allows custom configuration of the X-ray source and detectors. The compact design with forklift pockets ensures easy and straightforward installation. The ECO R., available in R.160 and R.225 versions, is designed to offer maximum speed and advanced automation. This system integrates a robot inside the cabinet and features a universal table that allows rapid change of components to be inspected, either individually or in groups. Loading can be done manually or by a second robot, enabling fully automated handling. With powers from 160 to 225 kV, the ECO R. includes automatic defect detection as standard equipment, improving the efficiency of the quality control process.

Advanced image processing

All ECO systems use VCxray's Xplus software, a powerful image processing tool that ensures exceptional visual quality. Using real-time filters similar to FLASH or HDR, images are clear and detailed. The software also offers tools for annotations, overlays and automation of inspection functions, with a user interface available in multiple languages to ensure ease of use.

Automatic Defect Recognition (ADR)

ADR technology built into ECO systems enables the detection of anomalies such as porosity and inclusions, with predefined evaluation criteria. Using an intuitive programming toolbox, specific parameters such as defect size and distribution can be set, ensuring accurate and repeatable inspections. ADR is a standard feature in the ECO R., while in other models it can be activated as needed.

ECO systems use premium X-ray sources supplied by Swiss partner COMET, available in powers from 225 to 450 kV and focal spots of 0.4/1.0 mm and 0.4/1.2 mm.
