01

Take human and environmental protection to a new level

NDT operators work in harsh conditions to test a wide range of materials and identify defects that could compromise human and environmental safety. Carestream NDT shares this commitment to a safer world through continuous innovation. That's why we developed new developing and fixing chemistries INDUSTREX DX Developer and INDUSTREX FX Fixer, formulated to deliver optimal results with all Carestream NDT films, while reducing environmental impact.

02

Hydroquinone-free developer and borate-free fixer

The new INDUSTREX chemistries are optimized for use with Carestream NDT film processors, ensuring excellent performance in all NDT processing systems. The absence of odors makes them more pleasant to use and their formulation allows for both automatic and manual development. Each pack contains two 5 liter cans, capable of producing 40 liters of solution, reducing packaging waste. The developer uses Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) instead of Hydroquinone, reducing silver deposits and simplifying cleaning. Both the polyethylene containers and the cardboard packaging are fully recyclable and the shelf life is 24 months, the same as traditional INDUSTREX products. Furthermore, the longevity of the developed films remains unchanged, ensuring safe archiving.

03

Full compatibility with Carestream NDT processors

Usage is simple: just maintain the normal regeneration rates expected from the Carestream NDT development cycle. The developer has a regeneration rate of 665 ml per square meter, while the fixer requires 1200 ml per square meter. For best results, the recommended temperature is 28°C with an immersion time of 100 seconds, or 26°C for 146 seconds. For proper startup, we recommend adding INDUSTREX starter solution to the freshly prepared detector tank. In manual processing, the development time at 22°C is 4 minutes, in line with conventional INDUSTREX products.

04

Safety in international transport

Thanks to their environmentally friendly formulation, these products are not subject to restrictions for transport by road, rail, sea or air. They are also stable to temperature changes, making them ideal for service providers or mobile laboratories operating in multiple countries.
