Rock Series

The equipment has six PID temperature controllers with an operating range of 0 to 1200°C. These controllers support manual and automatic operation, with displayed band alarm and relay for external alarm. They also feature band alarm override, ambient temperature compensation and thermocouple signal linearization. For safety, the system includes an emergency button, a positive safety circuit and an audible alarm. Cooling is by forced ventilation, and the structure is made of a sturdy painted steel frame.

Technical characteristics

The equipment is equipped with six independent outputs, each connected to three resistors with a fixed voltage of 400V. The total power is 360 KVA, with a power per output of 60 KVA. The automatic temperature regulation guarantees precise control of the thermal cycle, with three-phase power supply at 400V 50Hz. For monitoring and protection, there are 18 100A ammeters, six 100A circuit breakers for protection against short circuits and six 300mA residual current circuit breakers for protection against earth leakage.

Temperature recorder

The system includes a microprocessor-based recorder with a measurement range of 0 to 1000°C, compatible with Chromel/Alumel type K thermocouples. The chart paper feed is 20 mm/h, with six channels available and a scale width of 100 mm. The inputs, the paper speed and the full scale are programmable, guaranteeing an accuracy of ± 0.3% of the full scale ± 1 digit. The recorder has compact dimensions of 144 x 144 mm.

Programming unit "DP2"

The DP2 programming unit is a microprocessor programmer designed to execute the thermal cycle, with manual or automatic operating modes. Allows you to set and view functions such as set points, soak times, heating and cooling gradients, current consumption, alarms and recorded temperatures. The interface supports six languages ​​(Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese) and uses a backlit digital display with four lines of 20 characters each. The adjustment of the thermal cycle parameters occurs via a membrane keyboard with IP55 protection rating. The system allows you to memorize up to six different thermal cycles, offering flexibility and practicality in the management of heat treatments.

Connection cables

The equipment is supplied with six power cables with three-phase boxes for the connection from the power unit to the resistance cables, with a length of 10 metres. For connecting the resistors, 18 two-way splitter cables are included, made of high-temperature silicone, ensuring resistance and reliability in the most demanding operating conditions. Finally, the system is equipped with six “KX” type thermocouple extension cables, ensuring a precise and stable connection for temperature monitoring.
